FG launches app for easy transition to CNG
The Federal Government has launched an application that makes the transition to Compressed natural gas (CNG) easy for Nigerians.
The Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu, Dada Olusegun, disclosed this on Sunday in a statement on his X account.
“Finally, an app that makes the transition to CNG easy for Nigerians has been launched by the Presidential CNG Initiative,” Olusegun said.
“The app, downloadable on both Google and Apple Stores, provides real-time information on conversion centres close to your location, helps you book your conversion appointment, get discounts on purchases, and provides updates on fuel prices.

“You can also expect a massive decrease in prices for booking Bolt and other rideshare companies, as the FG has begun the RideShare CNG Conversion Incentive Programme, which allows drivers to convert their cars at a discount.”
According to Olusegun, the strategic journey to powering Nigeria’s transportation sector with a clean energy source has begun in earnest.
He added that no stone will be left unturned as the Federal Government is working very hard to make its adoption as easy as possible.
