The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has stated that the oil firm’s 2023 profit soared to N3.3 trillion, while its revenue totaled N24 trillion.

The Chairman of the NNPC Ltd Board, Chief Pius Akinyelure, disclosed this during a media briefing on Monday on the Audited Financial Statements.

Akinyelure said the N3.3 trillion represents an increase of N749 billion when compared to the N2.54 trillion posted in the 2022 financial period.

The company also declared a dividend of N2.1 trillion to its shareholders.
