Nigerian singer, Tare Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, has taken to his Instagram page to clarify his sexuality.

The Pop and R&B star, during an interactive session with his fans, mentioned that he is “very straight.” This means that he is sexually attracted to persons of another sex.
The 43-year-old Warri-born singer made this known after an anonymous gay man expressed his admiration for him. This was during the singer’s recent interactive session with fans on Instagram.
Aside from stating his sexuality overtly, he also mentioned that he does not discriminate against any sexuality. “I am not gay… I am very straight, but I don’t discriminate.”

The “Reggae Blues” crooner used to perform at nightclubs before he made a name for himself in the music industry.

His rise to fame came when he released the singles “I’m In Love” and “Taiye & Kehinde,” with the music video for the former topping music video charts, including Trace TV.
In 2014, Harrysong was nominated in the Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year category at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, following the release of his chart-topping song “Beta Pikin.”
Ever since then, the pop star has been releasing massive hits back-to-back. From Harrysong, we have tracks like “Reggae Blues,” “I Want You,” “Baba for the Girls,” “Obu Ego,” “Kolombo,” and others.
