Hardship: It’s time to speak up, cleric urges South-West leaders

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain World-wide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has charged South-West governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives, Houses of Assembly, traditional rulers, and religious leaders to tell President Bola Tinubu the truth concerning hardship being faced by Nigerians.

Alo, who spoke on a radio programme on Adamimogo FM, said that all stakeholders in Yorubaland, including all Christian and Muslim bodies with direct contact with the President, should meet him and let him know what Nigerians are going through.

The cleric, who, however, called for a change in the leadership of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), said that for Tinubu to succeed and Nigerians to be happy with him, there is a need to rejig the NNPCL or scrap it because it’s one of the causes of Nigeria’s problem.

“There has not been any word of encouragement from the NNPCL since the announcement of the increment in the price of petrol.

“Nigeria is the most prayerful nation in Africa, yet, hardship persists. Let us prioritise love over prayer. By doing this, all shall be well for the country, as there is no amount of prayer that can change the nation for good except necessary steps are taken,” the cleric said.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to be patient and give Tinubu time to do the needful, saying that protest or agitation is not the best solution to the current challenges.
