Mrs. Christiana Salmwang has succeeded Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa as the Lagos State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

This is contained in a statement by Mrs. Olatoye Christy, Assistant Director, Information and Public Relations Unit, NYSC Lagos State, on Monday.

 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Salmwang is the 24th Lagos State Coordinator of NYSC.

“A new coordinator has just been transferred to the NYSC, Lagos State Secretariat, after the redeployment of Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa to the NYSC Headquarters, Abuja, to assume a higher position,” the statement said.

 

It said that Salmwang, a graduate of Sociology from Bayero University, Kano, had a Master’s Degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defense Academy.

 

According to the statement, Salmwang joined the NYSC in 1998 and has worked for NYSC in Kaduna, Plateau, and Enugu States as well as in the NYSC Headquarters, among other places.
