“I get messages from people telling me I’ve inspired them to be more confident, bold, and to speak up for themselves, and that means the world to me. Knowing I’ve helped people embrace their voice is incredibly fulfilling. As for my style, it’s definitely grown as I have. The more confident I’ve become, the bolder my choices have gotten. I’m not afraid to take risks or step out in something that makes a statement. That’s how I went from rocking Ankara in the first scene of The Trust to wearing full aso ebi with a gele in my final scene of Perfect Match.” She adds.

Complementing her onscreen personality is her style which is a mix of boldness, tradition and a modern edge. “I love incorporating my Nigerian heritage into what I wear, whether it’s bright Ankara prints or beautiful lace details. For me, fashion is about celebrating where I come from while still being uniquely me. Whether it’s a traditional iro and buba with some standout jewelry or a more modern dress with a touch of Nigerian fabric, I like my outfits to be colorful, meaningful and authentic. To me, fashion is about telling a story—my story—and doing it with confidence and pride.”

She also firmly believes that fashion plays a huge role in shaping how people see you, especially on reality TV where the visuals speak just as loudly as your words. “My wardrobe is a way to express who I am and where I come from. I love using bold prints, bright colors, and traditional fabrics to showcase the beauty of my Nigerian culture. Every outfit I wear is intentional, it’s a way for me to express my confidence, pride and individuality. Growing up in America, I was often teased for being African. Now, when people see me on TV, I want them to know that I fully embrace my roots.

My fashion is my way of saying, “This is who I am, this is where I come from, and I am proud of it.”

As someone in the spotlight, her personality has played a huge role in influencing choices when it comes to fashion choices, trends and developing a unique style. She establishes that fashion is really personal to her, “So having people connect with it or want to follow certain trends I’ve set feels both humbling and empowering. It’s also a great way for me to spotlight my culture and show how versatile and beautiful Nigerian fashion is.

For anyone looking to develop their own style, my biggest piece of advice is to stay true to yourself. Don’t be afraid to try new things and take risks, but always make sure it feels like you. Confidence is key. Wear what makes you feel beautiful and powerful, whether it’s bold colors, fun prints or just something that fits you perfectly. When you own your style, people will be drawn to it because it reflects who you really are.”
