Nigeria at 64: Ministers assure citizens of healthier lives

As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Prof. Joseph Utsev said there is a wave of optimism sweeping across the nation.

The Minister pledged transformative action in providing clean water and improved sanitation, ensuring a healthier future for millions of Nigerians.

Utsev hailed Nigeria’s resilience in overcoming challenges and promised greater access to essential resources.

“Together, we can foster a healthier and more vibrant Nigeria, where everyone thrives.

“May we continue to strive for greatness as a nation and work collectively towards achieving the goals of a brighter tomorrow,” Utsev said,

Meanwhile, Minister of State, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, urged citizens to recommit to the nation’s progress, reaffirming their role in nation-building.

While challenges such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education persist, Goronyo said Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration was a powerful reminder of Nigeria’s enduring spirit.

He calls for unity and collaboration to dominate the national conversation, as leaders and citizens alike look to break barriers and usher in a new era of development and prosperity.
