A two-year-old pupil of Eghrepka Primary School, Ewu in Ughelli South Local Council of Delta State, Ojiyovwin Salvation, reportedly lost his life when a dilapidated building collapsed on him on Thursday.

The Guardian learnt that the dilapidated building collapsed on him during a downpour. Three other surviving victims are currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital due to severe injuries.

Meanwhile, the State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has mourned the deceased, and sent condolences to his family. In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ekpen Ahon, who described the incident as most unfortunate.
