Zeenat Balogun, the daughter of Yoruba Nollywood actor Saheed Balogun, has passed away.

The actor took to his Instagram account on Saturday to announce the heartbreaking news.

He posted a touching image of a candlelight surrounded by flowers, adding several heartbroken emojis to express his sorrow.

Just a few hours later, Saheed’s ex-wife, Fathia Balogun, and fellow actress Ronke Ojo, known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, confirmed the tragic news on their own Instagram accounts.

Fathia shared a candle photo with the poignant words, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” while Ronke Ojo offered her support, saying, “No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious. My heart goes out to you,
@saidibalogun, during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength in the love and support surrounding you.”
