Insurer appoints new directors
Guinea Insurance Plc has appointed two new directors to drive its operational efficiency. According to the insurer, Chioma Okigbo is appointed as an independent non-executive director, while Ogonna Offor-Orabueze, is appointed as an executive director (technical).
Offor-Orabueze brings over 15 years of dedicated service to Guinea Insurance Plc, where she previously served as Team Lead of the claims Unit and Group Lead of the technical Unit. Her extensive expertise spans risk assessment, damage evaluation, liability exposure, and policy interpretation.
According to a statement, Okigbo is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Modd Management Company Limited, an investment and administrative firm. With 16 years of experience at Asset and Resource Management Holding Company (ARM), including seven years as Managing Director of two ARM subsidiaries, and previous leadership roles at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), she brings a wealth of strategic business and financial expertise.
