The Oyo State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, passed a bill to rename the Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, to Michael Adeniyi Koleosho Polytechnic, Saki.

This came after a committee report presented by the House Chairman on Tertiary Education and a member representing Ibadan South West II State Constituency, Femi Fowokanmi, seconded by a member representing Ido State Constituency, Hon. Rasaq Mabaje, in a plenary presided over by its Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin.

After a clause-by-clause consideration of the bill by the committee of the whole, the lawmakers amended the clause title and clause 2, saying the essence was to enable amendments to the bill and further ease smooth administration.

Meanwhile, the House adjourned its sitting to Wednesday for a special Yoruba plenary.
