
According to a statement by the Director of Corporate and Internal Services, CITN, Oyeronke Ojo, the appointments took effect on October 18, 2024.
While congratulating Oso on her new capacity, she said Oso joined the institute as a manager in the research department in 2008, where she rose through the ranks and became Head, Education, and Research in 2015 and was later promoted to Assistant Director, where she was redeployed to the Exams and Student Affairs Department in 2017.
The statement said in 2018, she was made the Head of the Corporate Affairs Department, however, in furtherance to a restructuring exercise by the institute in 2020, she was appointed Assistant Deputy Director, Corporate Services, Membership and External Relations.
In a bid to further reposition the institute and in recognition of her exceptional performance in 2021, Oso was promoted to Deputy Registrar, Technical and Professional Services and served in that capacity until she was appointed as the acting Registrar and Chief Executive.
The statement added that Oso has attended several local and international training, including a one-month policy, strategy, and leadership course 45 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos.
