A non-profit organization, Francisco Udofia Foundation Africa, FUFAFRICA, has sensitised students of Uyo High School, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State on basic hygiene tips.
Speaking with newsmen at the event, the founder of FUFAFRICA, Francisco Udofia, said the seminar was to educate young people on how to stay healthy by practicing proper hygiene like regular washing of hands and keeping their environment clean, among others.
Udofia disclosed that his foundation was carrying out the Health Hygiene project in collaboration with ‘Big Heart- Great Impact Foundation, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
“We are doing this in collaboration with UNICEF and the Big Heart Great Impact Foundation. And as a foundation, we have done a lot of things in the six states of the South West region.

“So I feel its time for me to focus here, and on the Niger Delta region. I am from Akwa Ibom State, so this is a great opportunity for me to also do something here.”
Udofia disclosed that his vision is to take the project to all public secondary schools in the state.
