NGF, traditional rulers meet in Aso Villa
The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) is currently holding its monthly meeting at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
The governors are joined in the meeting by traditional rulers under the auspices of the National Council of Traditional Rulers.
Though the agenda of the meeting currently underway is not immediately known, it is believed that the security situation across the country, among others, will form the crux of discussions.
It was also learned that the governors are trying to harvest feedback from the traditional rulers and put together policies that will assuage the prevailing unpalatable situation in the country.
Some of the governors sighted are the Chairman of the NGF, AbdulRahman AbdulRazak (Kwara), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), and Uba Sani (Kaduna).
Some of the prominent traditional rulers present at the event so far include the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, Oni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar.
