
A television service, Luft PayTV, has been launched in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory with a promise to deliver the best of global and local content tailored to meet the diverse needs of Nigerian audiences
Speaking at the official launch in Abuja, the Founder/CEO of Luft PayTV Dr Bright Echefu said that the pay TV was designed with Nigerians in mind to usher in a new era of entertainment for Nigerians.
According to him, the innovative platform will deploy cutting-edge technology to deliver crystal-clear HD quality, multi-device compatibility, and an affordable subscription plan.
“Our service offers an unparalleled entertainment experience, featuring thrilling Nollywood blockbusters, live sports action, international news, reality shows, and a dedicated Kiddies Channel for children’s education and entertainment,” Uchefu said.
Regarding TStv, Dr. Bright Echefu addressed concerns, saying, “TStv is not dead. We’re resolving internal shareholder disagreements and expect positive developments in the coming weeks. We assure our loyal customers that everything will be fine.”
Speaking at the event, Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, stated that this is an era of content and urged the promoters to focus on news, youth, sports, documentary, history, and above all, promote the Nigerian culture.
On his part, Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, commended the idea behind the Luft Pay TV and all those who have made it possible to become a reality.
