Africa Union leaders ratified SMEs goal – Eradiri
The president of the All Africa Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (AAASME), Dr. Ebiekure Jasper Eradiri, has said the continental objective of SMEs has been ratified and adopted by the African Union (AU).
Eradiri said the group is committed to enhanced collaboration with all stakeholders to achieve a set global vision and agenda for the general benefit of the human race.
He also appreciated the African Union Commission under the leadership of H.E, Moussa Faki and the AU Department of Economic Affairs, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Minerals (AU-ETTIM) for heeding to AAASME advocacy over an annual continental parley with SMEs.
Eradiri said this while briefing the newsmen in Ikeja, Lagos over the annual event held at the United Nations (UN) headquarters to deliberate on global issues and positions wherein the summit produced 56-page pact resolutions.
He said the importance of SMEs and their relevance has earned them a seat on global decisions.
The group stated that it endorses the summit of the future pact for a shared future and assured prosperity with no one left behind.
“We commit to enhanced collaboration with all stakeholders to achieve a set global vision and agenda for the general benefit of the human race. While looking forward to a great future, together we can shape, reframe, re-imagine, and put Africa in its rightful pride of place,” he said.
