Stray Kids surpasses 9 billion Spotify streams
Stray Kids are rewriting the K-pop playbook, officially surpassing 9 billion streams on Spotify across all credits! This was made known on their X page on November 22, 2024.
This milestone cements their status as global icons and makes them the 4th Korean act to achieve this honour.
The boy team consists of Bang Chan (leader), Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N.
Before Stray Kids, three other Korean acts blazed this trail. They include BTS– the undeniable kings of K-pop who currently hold the highest stream count among Korean artists.

Also, BLACKPINK, the queens of breaking records with their sassy beats and fierce girl-power anthems, sit on the second Korean act to also achieve something like this.
TWICE, the purveyors of feel-good hits, joins the chart as the third musical group to keep their fans worldwide on their toes.
The self-producing 4th-gen powerhouse earned their spot through their hard-hitting music and relentless creativity. Albums like NOEASY, MAXIDENT, and 5-STAR were massive contributors, featuring hits like “God’s Menu,” “Case 143,” “Thunderous,” and “S-Class.”
Each member adds their unique flavour, making their music unforgettable. Their boundary-pushing sound and relatable lyrics resonate with fans (STAYs) across the globe.
Stray Kids didn’t just rack up streams—they broke barriers. With 9 billion streams and counting, this is only the beginning for these trailblazers.
