Otu, Eno, others pour encomiums on archbishop Isong at investiture

Bishop Gospel Emmah Isong

Cross River State Governor, Bassey Out, has described the founder of Christian Central Chapel International (City of Testimonies), Emmah Isong, as a true man of God and a blessing to the state.

Otu, who spoke at the investiture of Isong as archbishop, applauded his legacy in nurturing people in God’s way and promoting good values.

“God has used this man to bless Cross River State in numerous ways. You have guided our men and women towards God’s path. Your success story is a lesson for us all,” Otu said.

He announced the reappointment of Archbishop Isong as the Chairman of Cross River State anti-tax agency, thereby renewing his role from the previous administration.

Also, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno commended the archbishop’s tireless commitment to the church, stressing that cultivating a sense of national pride and responsibility is essential for the country’s progress.

Expressing his gratitude to the guests, Isong, specifically, acknowledged Otu, Eno, the delegation of archbishops and bishops who travelled from across the country to join in the celebration.

He expressed heartfelt appreciation to his beloved wife, Bishop Helen Enyinma Emmah-Isong and other servants of God for their moral and spiritual support, which he said had significantly contributed to the prosperity of the City of Testimonies’ family.

The investiture ceremony featured two notable side events – the unveiling of ‘Diamond from the Rough’, Isong’s latest book, and a soulful musical performance by the Sound of Abundance Music Group, whose soul-stirring melodies filled the air.

Isong used the occasion to celebrate his 60th birthday, 40 years of ministry and dedicated service to God, 35 years of marital bliss and 15 years as bishop, collectively known as the Five-Star Celebration.
