Businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Emeka Offor, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making significant strides in the nation’s education sector.

Offor said this shortly after being conferred with an honorary Doctorate by the Nile University of Nigeria in Abuja during the institution’s 12th Convocation Ceremony. Offor reiterated his call for sustained and enhanced government efforts in education.

The businessman, who highlighted his contributions to the national and international business landscape, called for consistency and innovation in addressing the sector’s challenges.

He said: “The present administration has made significant progress compared to past administrations, which struggled to address student education effectively. Notably, the current administration has introduced student loans to support students.

The awardee Offor also praised Nile University of Nigeria, for maintaining its high standards as a private institution, he expressed confidence in the quality of its lecturers and the caliber of graduates it consistently produces.

Also, the Executive Vice President of the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, Barrister Adaora Offor commended Nile University’s leadership on behalf of the foundation.
