Glenfiddich 31-year-old Grand Château debuts at luxurious soirée hosted by Christopher Ubosi

A spectacular evening of luxury and sophistication was had on November 24th 2024, as Glenfiddich unveiled its 31-year-old Grand Château. The intimate event hosted in the home of Christopher Ubosi, founder of Megaletrics Ltd, brought together an audience of whisky aficionados to experience this new addition to the Grand Series, showcasing Glenfiddich’s mastery in craftsmanship. From Lagos to London, Chris has reshaped entertainment and culture, creating an influential brand that effortlessly blends innovation with luxury. His unwavering commitment to excellence brought a distinctive touch of prestige and sophistication to the event.

The evening began with a starter of refined smoked octopus salad, featuring pickled beets, apple textures, olives, avocado, citrus, tomatoes, uyayak, and vinaigrette. Moving into the main course, mouth-watering, tender braised beef with mushroom sauce, Yaji, marrow crumb, and pomme purée was served. To round off this course, the guests enjoyed too much sweetness with charcoal beignet paired with apple crumble soil, ice cream, and berry mousse infused with mint oil.

Adding a layer of expertise and charm to the evening, Ogwa Iwaeze, Ledrop Prestige Manager, graced the soirée with her presence, expertly guiding guests through the rich history of the William Grant & Sons family and the legacy of Glenfiddich. She conducted unique tasting sessions, highlighting some of Glenfiddich’s notable Grand Series range.
