Health Maintenance Organisation, Avon Healthcare Ltd in partnership with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) has rolled out a community-based health insurance for communities in Idemili LGA of Anambra State.

The qualitative and also affordable healthcare plan was designated at Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital, Ogidi, a hospital recently refurbished by SNEPCo in 2014.

Speaking on the partnership, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), Avon HMO, Adesimbo Ukiri, said that the community-based health insurance plan will provide an ideal opportunity for the people of Idemili to take control of their health.
