Candace Ebhomielen-Uaboi named Real Estate Developer of the Year

The Nigerian real estate industry witnessed a historic moment at the GAHAWARDS 2024 as Candace Ebhomielen-Uaboi was honored with the GAH Real Estate Developer of the Year Award. This prestigious accolade recognizes her innovative leadership and outstanding contributions to the sector.

Candace is the Managing Director and CEO of Blue Dutch Limited, a top real estate development and sales company in Lagos.

Candace’s journey in real estate began with her passion for design and engineering, which she pursued academically at Benson Idahosa University. Her career naturally progressed into real estate, where she saw an opportunity to address investment challenges.

In 2018, she co-founded Blue Dutch Limited, and by 2022, the company rebranded to focus on development and sales. BDFL is now a trusted name, offering services in land acquisition, property sales, and investment consultancy.

“Our focus is on delivering value,” Candace explained. “We ensure that every investment is safe, profitable, and meets the highest standards.”

The GAH award comes as Candace wraps up a remarkable year. Blue Dutch Limited successfully allocated almost all its estates and solidified partnerships with key clients.

“This year has been transformative,” she said. “We’ve reached milestones that seemed impossible a few years ago. It’s a testament to what passion and determination can achieve.”

Candace’s influence extends beyond real estate. She is a philanthropist who supports grassroots football development and contributes to community upliftment through Rotary.
