As the world grapples with food security challenges, Fountain Drip Nigeria Limited has emerged as a transformative force in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

Headquartered in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the company, in partnership with its parent company, Diekolola Farms and Partners, is revolutionising farming practices to ensure sustainable food production, security and enhance livelihoods across the nation.

Founded in 2014 by Emmanuel Diekolola Adebiyi, Fountain Drip Nigeria Limited has become a trusted partner for farmers, offering a suite of innovative solutions, including irrigation system installations, high-quality agricultural inputs, crop production services, and farm management consultancy.

These services aim to enhance productivity and empower farmers to combat hunger while building sustainable livelihoods.

Adeniyi said Fountain Drip Nigeria Limited was born out of a vision to promote food security, not only in Nigeria but across Sub-Saharan Africa.

According to him, the company is passionate about empowering farmers with the resources and expertise they need to combat hunger and build a sustainable future.

Reflecting on his journey from Computer Engineering to agriculture, Adebiyi, an alumnus of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, has spent the past decade addressing Nigeria’s pressing food security challenges.

Under his leadership, Fountain Drip Nigeria has supported thousands of farmers, from smallholders to large-scale operations, and extended its influence to neighboring countries.

In 2024, the company partnered with Soilless Farm Lab to train 4,000 Nigerian youths in vegetable production, an initiative underscoring its commitment to nurturing future agricultural leaders.

Despite economic challenges such as inflation and currency fluctuations, Fountain Drip has prioritised affordability, particularly for small-scale farmers in Southwest Nigeria.

“Through strategic planning and resilience, we’ve increased our customer base by 50 per cent this year alone. Our brand is now recognized as a trusted name among farmers, and we are committed to expanding this legacy,” Adebiyi said, highlighting the company’s growing impact.

Adebiyi emphasised that Nigeria, with its fertile land and hardworking population, has the potential to achieve food security.

“We continue to rely heavily on food imports and international aid. It’s time we change this narrative by focusing on local solutions and empowering our farmers to lead the way,” he said.

Quoting Robert Ingersoll, Adebiyi emphasised the company’s ethos: “We rise by lifting others.”

He said this philosophy drives Fountain Drip’s commitment to building a thriving agricultural ecosystem that uplifts farmers and stakeholders alike.

According to him, Fountain Drip, today, stands as a leader in agricultural innovation, simplifying farming experiences and fostering food security.

Adeniyi emphasised that the company focus on transparency, integrity and customer satisfaction positions it as a cornerstone of Nigeria’s agricultural future.

“As Nigeria continues its journey toward sustainable development, Fountain Drip Nigeria Limited exemplifies the power of local solutions in addressing global challenges, proving that innovation, resilience, and a farmer-centric approach can transform agriculture and secure the nation’s food future,” he added.
