Ogun State Government has called on road users to prioritise safety and responsibility while travelling during the festive season. The state’s Commissioner for Transportation, Olugbenga Dairo, who gave the advice, yesterday, in Abeokuta, urged commuters and transporters to adhere to traffic rules to ensure a peaceful and joyous Yuletide celebration.

Dairo, who highlighted the critical role of transport operators in ensuring smooth and safe travels, urged them to maintain roadworthy vehicles and practise courtesy.

He, however, commended their contributions to the state’s transportation sector and called for heightened vigilance during the busy holiday season.

Besides, he reassured residents of the state government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and traffic management, aimed at making travel safer and more efficient.
