A former Secretary to Kano State Government (SSG) Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi has threatened to expose the rot in Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s government with ‘explosive evidence’.
Bichi also vowed to reveal Senate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s atrocities in Governor Yusuf’s administration.
Bichi, a forner Executive secretary, who was recently relieved from office on health ground along former Chief of Staff and five commissioners, made the threat while addressing loyalists on arrival from Saudi Arabia yesterday.
The embattled university lecturer broke his silence for the first time since his sack and suspension from the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
Bichi accused Yusuf and Kwankwaso of being deceitful and untrustworthy leaders and added that he possessed documented evidences including voice record and video clips to expose iniquities in Kwankwasiyya movement.
“I’m happy I left the office in peace, but let me be clear: this is not the best time to talk. At the right time, we will expose them,” he said.
“I have documents, videos, and voice notes that will show everyone who they really are.”
The former SSG’s fallout with the governor and Kwankwaso became public when he was suspended from NNPP for allegedly leading a movement to break Yusuf away from Kwankwaso’s control.
He was subsequently suspended from the party with then transportation commissioner, Muhammad Diggol.
Describing the two leaders as “masters of betrayal,” Bichi said his evidence will reveal the inner workings of their relationship.
They don’t know anything except treachery. They can’t be trusted.”
This development has sparked intense speculation among political observers and residents of Kano.
Many are waiting to see if Bichi will follow through with his threats and how it could shake up Kano’s political landscape.
