Koil Creation crosses 72-hour milestone in record-breaking Sew-A-Thon with 10 complete outfits


The ongoing 120-hour Sew-A-Thon by talented Nigerian fashion designer Oluwaseun Kuforiji popularly known as Koil Creation has reached a remarkable milestone as he crosses the 72-hour mark. With unwavering focus and incredible skill, Koil has successfully hand-sewn 10 complete traditional outfits, showcasing the richness of African culture and craftsmanship

Among the completed pieces are intricate designs such as Agbada, Danshiki, Kimono, Long Gowns, and more—all created using only a needle and thread. This extraordinary feat is part of his quest to set a Guinness World Record while celebrating the timeless elegance of traditional African fashion.

The event has drawn widespread attention from across Nigeria and beyond, with notable visits from the Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education, Professor Oluwole Banjo, and members of the university’s management team. They lauded Koil Creation, a proud TASUED alumnus, for his dedication and exceptional talent.
