Pomegranate Nigeria Limited, a logistics company, has reaffirmed its commitment to road safety in Nigeria. According to the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Pomegranate Nigeria Limited, Mr. Wole Elusakin, the commitment to road safety, among others, explains its presentation of breathalysers to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command, to boost its logistics activities.

Elusakin spoke at the presentation of the breathalysers to the FRSC yesterday, emphasising the importance of promoting safe driving practices in Nigeria.

“The life of a driver is precious, and it’s our collective responsibility to ensure their safety on the road,” Elusakin said.

According to him, safety in Nigeria is a collective responsibility that requires the collaboration of all stakeholders. He explained that the donated devices would enable the FRSC to detect and prevent drunk driving, ensuring that drivers are fit to be on the road.

Elusakin noted, “Our focus is on providing efficient and reliable logistics solutions to our clients, prioritising safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We believe that safety on our roads is essential for economic growth and development.”

While stating that Pomegranate Nigeria Limited’s initiative is a call to action for all stakeholders to prioritise road safety by working together, he urged stakeholders to reduce road accidents and make Nigerian roads safer for everyone.

According to him, the company’s future plans include expanding its operations to 49 sub-Saharan African nations, 17 Middle Eastern nations, and selected nations outside these regions, further demonstrating its dedication to improving road safety worldwide.

Elusakin commended Dr. Bola Azeez of First Adequate Insurance Broker; Mr. Femi Aderibigbe of Idrive, as well as his team members, Head of Operations Adekunle Adebambo and Head of Finance and Control Mrs. Jumoke Aladetuyi, for their support and commitment to road safety.

In his remarks, the FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, Akinwunmi Fasakin, lauded the company’s efforts, praising Pomegranate Nigeria Limited for its commitment to road safety. He also called on other stakeholders for support, saying that safety on Nigerian roads is the responsibility of all, and that the government alone cannot do it. He commended the company’s efforts towards promoting road safety.

Pomegranate Nigeria Limited is a third-party logistics company with clientele across the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
