DeenSisters Initiative revs up Ramadan Feeding Project

The DeenSisters Initiative, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Muslim women and supporting those in need, is gearing up for its annual Ramadan Feeding Project.

The organisation aims to provide food to at least 210 families across seven states in Nigeria, this year.
The CEO, Halima Bello Damagun disclosed this in a statement, explaining that the project is targeted at the vulnerable and needy people in the society.

She said following the Maiduguri floods recently, her organisation raised N12 million to feed and empower flood victims, saying that the gesture alleviated much suffering among those affected.

She further said: “This Ramadan, DeenSisters Initiative is seeking to raise N12.6 million. Our organisation is calling on individuals and organisations to support this worthy cause through cash donations or donations of food items.
