The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 75-year-old man, Nuhu Baba, for drug trafficking in Tumbau Village, Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

Kano NDLEA spokesperson, Sadiq Maigatari, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Tuesday, revealing that operatives recovered Tramadol, Cannabis Sativa, Diazepam, Exol-5, and Rubber Solution during the raid.

Baba allegedly admitted to selling drugs for two years to sustain himself.

State NDLEA Commander, Abubakar Idris-Ahmad, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to tackling drug crimes and urged the public to report suspicious activities.
