Anambra CP vows to arrest killers of children stuffed in refrigerator

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Ikioye Orutugu, has pledged to uncover the circumstances surrounding the brutal murder of three siblings in Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Council.

Orutugu, who assumed office as the 35th Commissioner of Police for the state, made the promise during a visit to the crime scene alongside other security agencies.

The victims, a five-year-old boy and two girls aged seven and nine, were found murdered and stuffed into a refrigerator while their parents were reportedly away. Following the incident, the police sealed off the building as part of their investigation.

During his visit, Orutugu met with the bereaved parents and was guided through the house, including the room where the crime occurred.

Addressing journalists afterwards, he expressed condolences to the family and reaffirmed the Anambra State Police Command’s commitment to resolving the case.
