Andersen, one of the world’s fastest-growing professional services firms, has launched Andersen Consulting, a global consulting practice that integrates business strategy, digital transformation, and AI-driven solutions with its renowned tax, legal, valuation, and global mobility expertise. As part of this expansion, Lagos-based Verraki Partners has joined the Andersen Consulting network, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to Africa’s economic transformation.

In an industry where private equity-backed consolidation has dominated, Andersen is charting an independent path, positioning itself as the only professional services firm to offer tax, legal, valuation, global mobility, and management consulting services under one umbrella. This integrated, multidisciplinary model is designed to provide seamless, conflict-free advisory services for global enterprises and upper-middle-market businesses, including owner-operated companies.

The firm’s launch includes a network of 3,000 professionals operating in over 60 countries across six continents. Andersen Consulting is part of the broader Andersen global platform, which boasts expertise in more than 170 countries worldwide.

“Our clients are looking for innovative strategies to stay ahead in an evolving marketplace,” said Mark L. Vorsatz, Global Chairman and CEO of Andersen. “Andersen Consulting was built to help businesses navigate this transformation. In just six months, we’ve established a consulting practice in 66 countries with 3,000 professionals, aiming for $1 billion in revenue within three years.”

Why Africa Matters in Andersen’s Growth Strategy

With Africa’s economies rapidly evolving and digital transformation reshaping industries, Andersen’s decision to expand its consulting practice on the continent is strategic. The inclusion of Verraki Partners, a Lagos-based advisory firm specializing in technology and business solutions, signals Andersen’s long-term commitment to driving economic growth in Nigeria and across Africa.

“CEO’s and Boards consistently tell us that the traditional consulting model falls short,” said Vorsatz. “They want a single firm capable of delivering a comprehensive range of consulting services. Andersen Consulting delivers a fresh, entrepreneurial approach that blends deep industry expertise, AI-driven technology, and independent advisory services.”

The Lagos office will be headquartered at Andersen Place, (Wing B), 5B Osborne Road, Ikoyi, reinforcing Andersen’s physical presence in Nigeria.

Andersen Consulting distinguishes itself from traditional consulting giants like the Big 4 by maintaining a fully independent, conflict-free advisory model. Unlike firms that operate under audit-related restrictions, Andersen’s approach ensures objective, client-first solutions.

To lead this transformative consulting practice, Vorsatz has recruited George Shaheen, the former CEO of Andersen Consulting prior to its spin-off from Arthur Andersen. He is joined by senior leaders from other top-tier consulting firms – “professionals who recognize the need for a better consulting model that is specialized, independent, and built for the future,” said Shaheen.

Andersen Consulting aims to generate $1 billion in revenue within three years, underscoring the firm’s ambition and confidence in its differentiated approach.

As Nigerian and African businesses seek innovative solutions to compete on the global stage, Andersen Consulting’s expansion presents an opportunity to access world-class expertise tailored to local needs. By combining cutting-edge technology, strategic advisory services, and deep market insights, the firm is positioned to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business in Africa.
