
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspects for vandalizing and stealing electrical cables in Bororo Village, Michika Local Government Area.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the suspects—Emmanuel John (34), Habila Kwaji (21), and Mohammed Garba (28)—were intercepted by a surveillance team from the Michika Divisional Police Headquarters during a routine patrol on March 9, 2025.
The officers found them in possession of stolen power cables.
Nguroje stated that during preliminary investigations, the suspects confessed to the crime and remain in police custody as further inquiries continue. Authorities are also working to recover more stolen materials.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, commended the officers for the arrests and issued a strong warning against acts of vandalism, emphasizing the need to protect public infrastructure.
He urged residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities to law enforcement, assuring that the suspects will be prosecuted after investigations.
