Singer, Kelly Anthony offers university education empowerment to five students

Canadian-Nigerian singer Kelly Anthony (Kelly Osaretin Osifo) has announced plans to sponsor five students from Nigeria for their first year at the University of Benin.

Born on May 5, 1989, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, Kelly Anthony grew up in an environment that encouraged freedom of choice and exposure. He attended Nightygate Primary School and UNIBEN Staff School.

Kelly expressed his excitement about this initiative, stating, “As Benin City is my hometown and birthplace, I want to give back to my community. I believe in the youth and want to provide them with opportunities for a brighter future.”

Kelly Anthony’s foundation will cover the students’ acceptance and tuition fees for any course at UNIBEN, provided they pass the entrance exams. The foundation will also provide for their upkeep, protection, and support.

“This means the world to me as an artist,” Kelly said. “Giving youth a chance at a better future is crucial. I believe in Nigeria’s youth and know that with guidance and support, they will succeed.”
