The Business Intern, a transformative initiative dedicated to supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), has concluded its third season, awarding N2.5 million to three outstanding businesses for their innovation and impact.
The Business Intern provides grants, mentorship, and strategic support to small businesses, driving innovation and sustainability in entrepreneurship. As the programme grows, it remains committed to identifying and supporting the next generation of business leaders.
After an intense competition featuring hundreds of promising entrepreneurs, Ace Wholesome Foods, led by Fatima Owolewa, emerged as the first place winner. he company specializes in producing nutritious baby food, providing healthy and affordable options for parents looking to give their children a strong start in life.
Taking second place, Theodora Fragrances, led by Toluwani Shogaolu, was recognized for its excellence in crafting high-quality diffusers and perfumes, offering unique and captivating scents at affordable price points that have gained significant consumer attention.
The Voters’ Choice Award went to A.jhay Signatures, led by Janet Noah, an eco-friendly brand dedicated to revamping textiles and breathing new life into fabrics through creative and sustainable designs. This recognition highlights the brand’s appeal and the overwhelming support from the Business Intern Community.
