Grande Oakbridge Montessori School, Lekki, Lagos, is set to celebrate 20 years of world-class learning and academic excellence.
Founder and Managing Director of the school, Mrs Hannah Obalade, said with state-of-the-art Information and Telecommunications Technology (ICT) classrooms, diverse talent development platforms, and practical learning sessions, the pupils are fully equipped to navigate the digital world.
Obalade, who harped on technology and skills development as tools for effective learning, said apart from raising Godly children, the school offers a world-class education that shapes each child into a confident, well-rounded individual.
Besides, she noted that the school is an innovative solution to broadening children’s skills, as they engage in learning new skills and reinforcing already acquired ones.
She said: “At Grande Oakbridge, our vision is to unlock every child’s God-given potential, equipping them to thrive academically, morally, and socially.”
Speaking on the anniversary celebration, Obalade, highlighted the programmes lined up for the event to include inter-house sports scheduled for April 12, inter-school mathematics competition, community service initiative, visit to Motherless Babies Home, alumni and parent gathering, graduation ceremony and the grand finale on September 28, 2025.
With just two pupils in nursery class and six teachers at inception, Obalade said the school moved to its permanent site in 2018.
“The number of pupils in the school has increased over the years, with a ratio of one teacher to 10 students, customised modern facilities, and innovative learning programmes with latest educational technologies that make the pupils relevant globally,” she said.
