The Lagos Chapter of Omo Ibile Igbomina has congratulated Bashir Ojulari on his recent appointment as Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Rufus Olaniyan, the group described the appointment as a source of pride for the Igbomina community.
“Engr. Ojulari represents the excellence and resilience that Igbomina people are known for. His track record of professionalism, leadership, and discipline has always stood him out in his career,” Olaniyan said.
He noted that Ojulari’s emergence as GCEO reflects his long-standing experience and contributions in the oil and gas sector.
“We have no doubt that he will bring the same values to bear in leading the NNPC into a new era of transparency, innovation, and national progress,” Olaniyan added.
The group also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for appointing an Igbomina indigene to the role, encouraging Ojulari to view the position as a call to serve.
“This is a defining moment—not just for Engr. Ojulari, but for all Igbomina people across the world. We urge him to remain focused, uphold the values of hard work and integrity that have defined his journey so far, and to serve the nation with renewed dedication,” he said.
