Dr. Adeyemi’s academic journey began in Nigeria, where she earned her medical degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State. Her passion for public health led her to pursue a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at Johns Hopkins University, one of the world’s leading institutions for public health education. She further expanded her expertise by earning a Master’s in Sustainability and Environmental Management (MLA) from Harvard University, equipping her with the tools to address healthcare challenges through sustainable and innovative approaches.
Dr. Adeyemi’s career spans multiple continents and industries, reflecting her versatility and dedication to improving lives. She co-founded Magna Carta Health, where she serves as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Magna Carta Health focuses on preventative healthcare, bridging gaps in access to care, and leveraging technology to enhance healthcare delivery. One of her notable initiatives includes the development of Clinicgoto, a healthcare technology app designed to increase access to medical services and improve patient outcomes.
In addition to her work at Magna Carta Health, Dr. Adeyemi founded Mentoring Her, a social networking platform that connects female mentors with mentees. This initiative empowers women to pursue their dreams and maximize their potential, fostering a culture of mentorship and support.
Dr. Adeyemi has also served as a Special Adviser on Research and Innovation to Nigeria’s Minister of Education and the Minister of State for Health. Dr. Adeyemi is deeply committed to addressing cervical cancer, one of the most preventable cancers globally. Her advocacy extends to global forums, such as the Africa Cancer Care Forum hosted by the White House and the World Health Organization’s Global Breast Cancer Initiative, where she has championed equitable healthcare access and innovative cancer treatment strategies.
