A leading business solution group, Whitecrust Investment has renewed plan to empower 200,000 entrepreneur and small scale enterprises to upscale business opportunities in Kano.

Besides, the group disclosed readiness drive financial and investment inclusion while strengthening micro economic viability in the largest Northern market.

The Chief Executive Officer of the group, Kingsley Clements Eremionkhale, disclosed this opportunities on Tuesday at the unveiling of a new branch in Kano,

The CEO said the group was committed to contributing to the Kano economy through local employment and tax payments while providing lending services to civil servants.

He said the company’s approach to financial inclusion was not limited to providing loans and investment services, but also included financial literacy and other support programmes designed to improve people’s understanding of financial services.

Eremionkhale said the company had undertaken a needs assessment before entering the Kano market and tailored some of its products and services to the cultural and religious diversity of the state.

The CEO further disclosed that Whitecrust was targeting at least 200,000 potential customers in Kano within one year through its investment and lending services.

He said the company’s corporate social responsibility programmes would also focus on ordinary market men and women, adding that some of its investment products would be linked to discounted Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO) policies.

According to him, Whitecrust Investment Group, which will mark five years of operation in January 2027, is the parent company of White Crust Finance Company Limited, a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)-regulated and licensed company, as well as White Crust Microfinance Institution and White Crust Asset Management Company.

Eremionkhale said the decision to establish a presence in Kano was driven by the state’s large population and the group’s desire to take its financial services closer to its target market.

He added that the company has professionals with training and certifications in Islamic banking and finance who are working on products designed specifically for the Kano market.

“Kano is a densely populated state. We honestly feel that as businessmen, if you are not in Kano, then you have not actually scratched the surface,” he said.

On the company’s rapid expansion, Eremionkhale attributed the opening of 10 branches within five years to focus, determination and a desire to build a lasting legacy rather than pursuing profitability alone.

“We came into this market with a legacy mindset. We want to leave a legacy. We want to empower people and create employment,” he said.
