Tinubu flags off Calabar-Ebonyi-Benue-Nasarawa super highway

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday flagged off the Ebonyi superhighway connecting Cross River state, Ebonyi State, Benue State and Abuja, promising that the projects will be completed within stipulated time.

Tinubu, who was represented by Governor Francis Nwifuru, said that his administration determined to complete the all projects, urging Nigerians to have faith in his Renew Hope Agenda.

The President assured Nigerians of delivering quality road infrastructure that will stand the test of time and thanked Ebonyi people for their support toward his administration.

“I am happy with the people handling this project and am committed to complete this project, not only it will be completed but with high quality,” Tinubu said.

“All the coastal Highway projects and other roads projects across the country will not only have powerful and positive impact on the economy but will also improve the standard of living of Nigerians and overall development of the country.

Nwifuru noted that “history will remember Mr. President for this supper project which cut across the southeast southsouth and North central part of the country.

“This coridon which starts in Ebonyi will traverse Mbeke Isieke, Benue, Nasarawa down to Abuja.”

Minister for Works, Sen. David Umahi, said that Ebonyi people should be grateful to Tinubu, saying that the project is one of the three mega projects of his administration.

He praised Governor Nwifuru for uniting the state, noting that southeast is wiser now and all the governors are united.
