Toni Akposheri: Building Africa’s most powerful digital and feminine empire

Toni Akposheri

At just 25 years old, Toni Akposheri also known as Raven is not your typical digital entrepreneur. She’s blunt, bold, and unapologetically African. With a 7-figure digital product business, a growing media empire, and a deep-rooted mission to help women heal and glow up without apology, Toni is reshaping what success looks like for a new generation.

You’ve built a multi-platform empire in under two years. What sparked all this?
Honestly, I hit rock bottom. In early 2024, I survived a near-fatal accident that left me hospitalized for months. That moment gave me clarity. I told God if He brought me through, I’d stop playing small. And I meant it. I stopped waiting for permission and started building a life and legacy that mattered.

You’ve mentioned being the daughter of a legend, how has that influenced your path?
My dad is Tony Akposheri, Zacky from The New Masquerade. Watching him live in his purpose showed me that storytelling has the power to shape culture. He always called me “the man of the house” and even named me after himself. That stayed with me. But I knew my path would be different. I’m taking the legacy digital, global, and spiritual.

Let’s talk about HerPowerSecrets. What’s the story behind it?
It started anonymously. Just a faceless page where I poured out everything I’d learned about feminine energy, emotional healing, dating psychology, and shadow work. Then I created The Glow Up Bundle, that changed everything. My page exploded. Women related. They bought. They healed. They transformed. Now? HerPowerSecrets reaches over 50,000 women, and it brings in seven figures monthly. And we’re just getting started.

What makes your content and brand stand out in a saturated market?
I don’t do generic. I solve hyper-specific problems women are actually going through, anxious attachment, low self-worth, inconsistent men, identity loss, all of it. My content is like a slap and a sermon. It hits because it’s real. And because it works.

You also have multiple businesses outside of HerPowerSecrets. Tell us more about that.
Yes, Signature Luxe Media is my media company, CNR SkinLuxury is a skincare brand I co-own, and Cherry & Raven was my first baby. I co-founded it with my sister in 2023. It started as a luxury lifestyle and event brand, and we’re now rebranding it to reflect a more exclusive, elevated experience. Everything I create is rooted in culture, story, and power.

Bold Bantu is getting a lot of buzz already. Tell us what makes it special.
Bold Bantu is not a fashion brand, it’s a cultural movement. It’s African elegance, redefined. We’re launching with only 10 custom, hand-beaded luxury sets, each one coming with a handwritten letter from me. No mass production. No restocks. If you get one, it’s because it was meant for you. It’s for those who wear melanin like a crown and culture like armor. It’s African elegance for the elite soul.

You describe it as “the Hermès of Pan-African accessories.” What does that mean?
It means we’re not begging to be included in luxury, we are the luxury. Bold Bantu stands on the pillars of Pan-Africanism, Black excellence, and spiritual depth. This isn’t jewelry. It’s a lineage.

You have mentioned spiritual quite a number of times. Tell us about your relationship with God.
God is at the center of everything I’ve built. My entire glow-up was rooted in surrender. That accident didn’t just break me, it reintroduced me to Him. My relationship with God became personal, not performative. That’s what gave me clarity on who I really am, and now I want to help others do the same.

How does your personal belief system influence your business?
I believe in Black supremacy. Female supremacy. African sovereignty. I’m not here to dilute that. I build from spirit, for women who are tired of shrinking and want to reclaim their power unapologetically. That’s what I stand for.
What’s your take on being a young African woman in digital business today?
It’s revolutionary. We’re flipping the table. I’m building wealth, influence, and legacy off of emotional intelligence, healing, and cultural pride. And I’m doing it without compromising who I am.

You’ve also ventured into philanthropy. What’s the mission behind Golden Wish Foundation?
Golden Wish Foundation is one of the things I’m most proud of. My mother, an incredible businesswoman and philanthropist, founded it, and my sisters and I are board members. It’s dedicated to uplifting widows and orphans in Nigeria through outreach, education sponsorship, and real community support. We’re not just building wealth, we’re building impact.

What do you want women reading this to walk away with?
I want them to know that you don’t have to look perfect to be powerful. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to choose yourself. Build something, even when it’s messy. Trust God, even when it’s blurry. Glow up from the inside out—and never forget who you are.

What’s next for you?
I’m launching a podcast, expanding into digital coaching, and preparing for Bold Bantu’s drop. I’m also stepping into directing, just like my dad, So yes stepping more into the light, because people need to know that this empire wasn’t luck. It was alignment, audacity, and God. I’m building an empire where healing is sexy, being African is elite, and luxury is our birthright. And I’m doing it with God, grit, and gold energy. So when you see my name, know it’s not noise, it’s a movement.
