Socialite, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest has met with President Bola Tinubu. In a viral video, Cubana Chief Priest was seen kneeling down to greet Tinubu.

Cubana Chief Priest who is a professed follower of the Labour Party (LP) and its standard bearer during the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi has sparked reactions among social media users.

“Looks like most young people in the South-east (SE) don’t truly know PBAT. The lies from the opposition and Hundeyin stuck, and now they just hate him without looking at his track record,” Carter wrote on X.

The People’s Voice said: “Who else noticed Tinubu mentioned Chief priest like in front of who?”

Olaide Adesoye said: “So, he’s been going from one office to the other just so his restaurant can be unsealed. But he didn’t think of the environmental damage his staff were doing to the Lagos community.

“Where is he to also caution his brethren from the South-east (SE) against planting hatred every single time?

“Well, PBAT is a man who cares less about your past and draws you closer. He doesn’t discriminate against any known tribe or political actors. He’s very open to all and picks no offence in all the names the Easterners have been calling him.”

According to Ayomipo Mayokun, “I reiterate many people on this platform will die to meet MC oluomo let alone the president. Wait oo dem say Igbo man no dey kneel down for any man. Let them keep whining you, they know what they are doing.”

Cubana Chief Priest’s meeting with Tinubu is coming a few days after the photo of the celebrity nightlife king made headlines as he was recently spotted on his knees while greeting Vice President Kashim Shettima in Abuja.

Cubana Chief Priest was also seen last month rocking President Tinubu’s signature “infinity logo.”

The Imo State-born socialite wore a replica of Tinubu’s cap at Obi Cubana’s 50th birthday party in Abuja on April 12, 2025.
