Lagos monarch calls for unity among ruling houses, Otto Kingdom

The Prescribed Authority and Paramount Ruler of Mainland, His Royal Majesty Muh’ Bashir Alamu Abisoye Odesanya (Olupejobi II), the Oloto of Otto and Lagos Mainland, has called for unity among the ruling houses of the Olupejobi Ruling House, Erufa Ruling House, and Balo Ruling House, as well as the Otto Kingdom in general.

He made the appeal during a meeting at his palace with the Oloto Chiefs-in-Council, the Olupejobi Ruling House, and the Balo Ruling House, among others.

The monarch expressed his gratitude to all present for their love and support since his coronation, offering prayers for continued cooperation. Reflecting on his journey as Oba Oloto of the Otto Kingdom, Mainland, and its environs, he appealed to all aggrieved individuals and ruling houses to set aside their differences, noting that only God can enthrone a king.

Kabiesi Oloto thanked the entire family and ruling houses present, expressing appreciation for being their Oba and acknowledging the blessings bestowed upon his household by the Almighty God.

He urged unity, love, and progress to resolve any existing disputes. “It is high time we come together and work for the greater good of the kingdom. Unity is strength; only through collaboration can the Otto Kingdom thrive and develop further,” he said.

The monarch also encouraged the sons and daughters of the Otto Kingdom, both at home and abroad, to return and contribute to the community’s development, ensuring that everyone benefits from the land’s prosperity.
