Abiodun appoints 40 aides, liaison officers across Ogun’s 20 LGAs

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of 40 new officials, including 11 Senior Special Assistants, one Special Assistant, and 28 liaison officers drawn from across the state’s 20 local government areas.

The appointments were announced on Monday in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, in Abeokuta.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants are Ayo Somide, Laide Okunola, Sulaimon Oduwole, Adewale Adesina, Ola Olufunmilayo, Tayo Mabeweje, Basibo Odoru, Kehinde Bello, Ikienomore Oladipupo Adedeji, Deluola Daniel Babatunde, and Doregoes Aaron Oluwatobi. Rasheed Obanla was appointed as Special Assistant.

The liaison officers were appointed to represent the 20 LGAs, with some areas having more than one representative.

The appointees include Wale Bello and Sulaimon Sanni (Abeokuta North), Odetayo Bolade Mutiu and Yomi Okanlawon (Abeokuta South), Alhaja Waliat Ogunbiyi and Otunba Rafiu Okewale (Ado-Odo/Ota), and Kikelomo Delano and Kola Hammed Adeniji (Ifo).

Other liaison officers include Hon. Olabode Sunkanmi Adegoye (Ewekoro), Hon. Owolabi Okunnuga (Ijebu East), Adeyemi Stephen and Nuberu Femi (Ijebu North), Ayo Ogunfowora (Ijebu North-East), Dr. Oluwatosin Olatokunbo (Ijebu Ode), Subomi Olufemi Agesin (Ikenne), Olusola Oke (Imeko/Afon), Hon. Wale Agbetokun (Ipokia), Aderin Dopemu (Obafemi/Owode), and Musiliu Akanji Akindele (Odeda).

Others are Ladejobi Shuaib Adebayo (Odogbolu), Wale Ajayi (Ogun Waterside), Sorinola Rasheed (Remo North), Tola Olutayo (Sagamu), Lizzy Jekami (Sagamu), Prince Musibau Olaleye (Yewa North), Micheal Olalere Ejidele (Yewa North), and Samson Salako (Yewa South).

The government urged the appointees to be diligent and contribute to the administration’s development priorities guided by the ISEYA agenda.
