Trackbond Energy partners with China’s Tide Power to boost Nigeria’s energy sector

Trackbond Energy Services Ltd has partnered with China-based manufacturing company, Tide Power, to expand clean energy solutions and address Nigeria’s longstanding power challenges.

The partnership was announced at the Tide Power Nigerian Branch Product Seminar, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors of the energy industry.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of Trackbond Energy Services, Joseph Adenuga, said the partnership was driven by a shared vision to improve power availability across Nigeria and support the nation’s production capacity.

“We want to be the solution providers to the power problem in Nigeria, knowing fully well the efforts our government is making towards the energy sector. Our partnership with Tide Power is because their vision for Nigeria aligns with our mission to deliver reliable energy solutions to the 37 states in Nigeria,” he said.

Adenuga noted that Trackbond Energy, which has operated in Nigeria for over two decades, has consistently supported both public and private sector energy needs, and pledged to continue putting the best interests of the Nigerian market at heart.

“We have been in Nigeria for more than two decades, providing solutions to power issues faced by both the private and public sectors of the country. This partnership will make alternative energy sources more accessible. We would now make natural gas, solar, and even wind energy. The solutions we are bringing on board are seamless,” he added.

Also speaking at the seminar, President of Tide Power, Rex Tan, who reiterated the company’s commitment to Nigeria, disclosed that the company’s manufacturing plant in the country is meant to strengthen its operations and enhance after-sales service.

He said: “Tide Power manufactures gas and diesel generators, water pump sets, and battery storage systems. We’ve had a presence in Nigeria for over 7 years, and now, we are taking it further by setting up a stronger branch and local manufacturing facility to serve the market better, especially in the availability of spare parts.”

Tan emphasized that the company’s primary focus is to provide sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy solutions to the Nigerian market.
