Matawalle mourns ex-President Buhari

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, describing it as a monumental loss to Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry of Defence, Patience Ituke, Principal Superintendent of Press, the Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the late president’s family and the Nigerian people.

Dr. Matawalle noted that Buhari’s passing comes at a time when the nation still stands to benefit from his wisdom and wealth of experience.

Reflecting on Buhari’s legacy, Matawalle described the late president as a leader of resilience and vision, one who prioritised national unity, integrity, and development.

“The legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire future generations as we navigate the challenges of nation-building,” the Minister added.
