President Bola Tinubu and the presidents of two other countries are expected to attend the funeral prayer for the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, disclosed this in an interview with the Hausa service of the BBC on Monday.
He said the corpse of the late president would be brought from London on Tuesday, and the funeral prayer would be performed at the palace of the Emir of Daura, in Katsina State.
The governor added that after the funeral prayers, Buhari’s remains would be buried in his residential house in Daura.
According to the governor, he has inspected the residence of the late president to supervise arrangements for the burial.
