The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has relieved Professor Muhammad Sani Bello of his position as Commissioner of Information and a member of the State Executive Council, appointing Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki to replace him.

Maiyaki had served as the Managing Director of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) before his elevation as Commissioner of Information in the state.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, on Tuesday, the governor stated that Maiyaki is to replace Bello immediately.

The statement, which wished Bello success in his future endeavours, acknowledged the former commissioner’s services as the pioneer Commissioner of Education in the Governor Uba Sani Administration and Commissioner of Information.
