Ahead of the 2027 poll, supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Diaspora have perfected strategies to ensure a door-to-door campaign aimed at re-electing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Already, the group, in a statement on Wednesday, disclosed that they have directed their members worldwide to participate in the voter registration exercise as part of their strategies to galvanise support for President Tinubu at the polls.
APC Diaspora also expressed support for the emergence of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as the national chairman of the party.
Hon. Tunde Doherty, Chairman of APC UK and Chair of the Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC), together with the Media Directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Diaspora, led by Prof. Tai Balofin, Head of Media Directorate and Chair of APC USA, affirms their commitment to collaborating with Yilwatda to secure a resounding victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
According to the group, the strategic partnership aims to bolster President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and advance his transformative Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.
Prof. Tai Balofin emphasised the Diaspora’s readiness to mobilise resources, engage grassroots supporters, and implement innovative campaign strategies to ensure electoral success.
“We are fully prepared to work with Prof. Yilwatda to strengthen the APC’s global outreach. Our door-to-door campaign initiatives and voter education programs will connect with Nigerians at home and abroad, reinforcing the party’s commitment to inclusivity, progress, and unity,” Balofin stated.
Hon. Tunde Doherty underscored the Diaspora’s essential role in the party’s vision. “The APC Diaspora is united and energised to support President Tinubu’s re-election. We stand ready to work tirelessly to ensure victories across the board, promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda that has brought renewed focus on infrastructure, education, and inclusive governance,” Doherty affirmed.
The Secretary General of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen (CDC), Amb. Stephen Tella, has directed all APC Diaspora members to register en masse to vote in preparation for the 2027 elections.
“Mass voter registration is critical to our strategy. We urge every eligible member in the Diaspora to register and actively participate in the electoral process to secure a decisive victory for President Tinubu and the APC,” Tella declared.
The Directorate thereby called on all Nigerians in the Diaspora to heed Amb. Tella’s directive is to join this movement and contribute to sustaining Nigeria’s progress under the leadership of the APC.
