Bijamic Private Schools, Badore-Ajah, has celebrated the graduation of its first-ever college students.
The 18 pioneering students were hosted recently under the theme, ‘Rising with Purpose.’
Speaking at the event, Educational Development Director, Mrs. Chinyere Jane Abiola, said the programme was a powerful fusion of family pride, academic achievement, and transformative storytelling.
Abiola, whose daughter was among the pioneer graduands, added: “This is our dream in motion. We started as a small nursery school in 2011 but today we are sending leaders into the world.”
Quoting Nelson Mandela, she challenged students to change the world with the power of education.
“You now hold the most powerful weapon, use it boldly with purpose.”
On his part, the Director of Schools, Mr. Bolarinwa Abiola, urged the students to lean on divine guidance.
“Let Jehovah lead you. Your excellence must be rooted in character, not just academics.”
Abiola recounted the humble beginnings to historic moments of establishing Bijamic Private Schools, which has proven itself not just a centre of learning, but a launching pad for leaders of purpose and legacy.
The school Principal, Mrs. Muinat Titilayo Buhari, described the graduates as products of vision and values.
She praised the Class of 2024/2025 for their resilience and academic strength, commending the 32 JSS3 students moving up the academic ladder.
The guest speaker, Mr. Aramide Twins, a mentor and ex-principal, challenged the graduands to carry the Bijamic flame into the future.
“You’re not just students; you are ambassadors of excellence,” he said.
Valedictorian Miranda Abiola moved the crowd with an emotional tribute, saying: “I’m the daughter of this legacy, and I’m proud of the foundation my parents built. Thank you to every teacher who saw potential in me.”
The day featured colourful cultural displays, public speaking, fashion parades, dance, and drama. Awards were given to top performers, while the graduating set was officially inducted into the Bijamic Alumni Association.
