The Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate in Lagos will host the fifth edition of the Emerald Invitational, known as Escape to the Greens, from September 26 to 28.
In a statement on Thursday, the organisers said the three-day event will combine golf, leisure activities and entertainment.
They added that the 308-hectare estate, which features 14 lakes and an 18-hole championship course, will welcome both golfers and non-golfers for what they described as a weekend of luxury and culture.
Highlights of the event include Verse and Vibes Night, Poolside Pulse Party and the Owambe Royale Emerald Gala, which will be headlined by singer Johnny Drille and hosted by media personality Kie Kie.
The Lakowe Lakes Golf Classic will also take place during the weekend, with professional golfers from across West Africa expected to compete. Amateur players will also be given the opportunity to participate.
Accommodation packages start from ₦1,295,000 for studio cottages to ₦5,225,000 for four-bedroom apartments. These include two nights’ stay, meals, premium drinks and activities such as pontoon boat rides, sip-and-paint sessions, pottery classes, archery and tennis. Day passes will also be available for guests who wish to attend selected events.
Entertainment for the weekend will feature DJ Nana, Folagade Banks, Layi Wasabi, IBQUAKE, OB Nelson and the Serenade Jazz Band, as well as Lilian Yeri Dance World. Early-bird ticket prices range from ₦75,000 to ₦225,000 depending on the activity.
